3D OCT and Retinal Scanning
Digital retinal images are obtained using the latest ophthalmic technology. 3D Optical Coherence Tomography (3D OCT) reveals the individual layers of the retina and retinal nerve fibres. This significantly aids in the early detection and monitoring of common eye conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Images are stored digitally and clinical changes can be recorded over time.
3D OCT scans and retinal imaging can be carried
out during a routine eye examination and we
recommend it for all our patients whether
or not there is a family history of eye disease.
Green & Elliott Optometrists embrace modern
technology and provide Expert Eye Care.
